Hi there and welcome to my latest edition.
Today’s edition focuses on Maori Greenstone also called Pounamu Stone, Tangawaite or Tangiwai but often is just called Greenstone.
These green stones have been used by the Maori people of New Zealand, who carved the stone into quite beautiful protective amulets, which were often passed down through families.
Their mineral make-up varies, but they are often made of a mixture of Bowenite, Serpentine and Nephrite Jade. Nephrite Jade is harder and is easier to carve, so this stone is preferred for carving if available.
Maori Greenstone has a magical and mystical vibration that is highly protective, and helps to create a protective grid around you.
They are excellent crystals to prevent psychic attack, and if you feel you might need them for this purpose, a protective amulet may be beneficial.
Or you may wish to keep them nearby during sleep, as this is when attack can happen and they also help to ensure better sleep.
They embody a quite soothing, calming energy that is helpful to relieve stress and fear especially acrophobia which is the fear of heights.
They are beneficial crystals for friendship that enhance love and appreciation for loved ones, and are good anti-aging stones that are purported to help you to live a long life.
They are commonly passed down to family members and are known to aid you to make contact with ancestors in the Spirit world, also called mediumship.
The vibration of these stones encourages the flow of chi through the body and this is known to be helpful to boost your energy and increase your wellbeing.
Keep a piece under your pillow to help you to sleep better and to help you to remember your dreams.
Discover other properties of Greenstone in my article, as it is a quite helpful stone to utilize.
That’s all for now. I look forward to sharing more of my favorite articles soon.
Love and light Liz
