Mango Quartz
High vibration orange-yellow crystals that aid spirituality
Hi there and welcome to my latest newsletter. If you are new here, I hope you enjoy learning more about crystals here.
Today’s edition focuses on Mango Quartz, which is not that well known as it has only been selling for around 5 years.
It comes from the Corona Mine in Columbia and there are a number of stories written about the history of the mine, but its hard to know the accuracy of these accounts.
So what I will tell you, is what I feel is probably accurate. Apparently an emerald miner found these crystals in his Emerald mine in the 1980’s.
While he did take some of the stone out, he shut the mine for his own reasons and is said to have filled in the mine so others couldn’t find it. He is said to have died in 2013.
Local people ran across the closed mine and opened it and discovered these beautiful stones. I believe that they were sent to market around 2019-2020, not sure exactly when.
They may have been first labeled Corona Quartz but once the virus of that name hit the world it was not felt to be a good name so they then called it Mango Quartz.
These golden yellow crystals are quite beautiful so many people were attracted to them, as I was.
Many of these stones are long skinny pieces but they may also be more chunky with an Elestial formation on one end. I have also seen clusters selling as well.
The yellow color is said to be the mineral Halloysite and this mineral is included in quite clear quartz in many pieces. So they may be found selling as Halloysite Quartz.
I got my first stones in 2021, but I didn’t work with them much at all at that time as their energy was somewhat elusive and hard to connect with.
After making an effort for some time to connect with them I put them aside thinking that perhaps they were not for me.
It was when I was using my gorgeous Citrine Elestial in meditation that I got a message from my spirit guide telling me to use the Citrine Elestial with the Mango Quartz elestial.
Once I did this strangely it opened a connection to the Mango Quartz.
It started out subtly, but as the energy became apparent it was obvious that they were high vibration crystals that connected extremely well to the higher realms and the soul star chakra.
They have a beautiful energy that is excellent for meditation (once you have connected with them) You can read more about how to do this in my article.
The long thin double terminated pieces are good to use as a crystal wand once you have achieved a connection with them.
Use them in meditation to bring the golden light down from the higher realms. This may also stimulate immense peace and harmony as well.
They are also strong crown chakra stones that enhance clearer thinking and are helpful to use in any type of spiritual practice.
The stone pictured above is a piece in the Elestial formation, and this formation occurs in a variety of crystal types not just mango quartz.

The important thing when using Mango Quartz is that you do need to keep using it regularly in meditation so that it’s action to boost your Spiritual growth can develop.
The mineral Halloysite is in the Kaolinite family and this mineral works well to boost clairaudience also called psychic hearing.
